I am registered with the General optical council with additional qualifications in: Additional Supply Specialty, Supplementary Prescribing Specialty, Independent Prescribing Specialty. This means I am able to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions without the need for referral.

I have been providing family eye care for generations in Birmingham for some forty years, since the early 1980's. My consulting room is equipped with the most advanced equipment available, including a Heidelberg OCT which is excellent in picking up conditions such as wet macular degeneration enabling early referral and treatment. This is an independent practice which means we are able to offer a professional service tailored to your needs in a relaxed low pressure atmosphere. We are also not tied to any particular spectacle supplier enabling us to source unique designs from around the world.

We rely on good will, word of mouth and personal recommendation to maintain our client base, rather than mass advertising; this frees up more resources for patient care. We are also a glaucoma enhanced referral and minor eye conditions service accredited practice. Additionally I specialise in dry eyes, red eyes, hard contact lenses and Keratoconus contact lens fitting.
